A complete design proposal to raise awareness and support the launch of a new educational product.

- Microsite and module system
The challenge
Raising awareness of a distinctive educational software with a site for events that would also capture leads.
The key
An audience with average tech knowledge: technical information had to be dosed carefully.
The result
A modular microsite that works as a presentation at events and as a funnel to capture leads.
The problemAttractive, self-explanatory and versatile
Compro Technologies needed a microsite to be the first point of contact with its customers.
It had to work as a presentation to project at events and, at the same time, as a funnel to capture leads, explaining a technical product to an audience with average tech knowledge.
ProcessHow we did it
I was in charge of concept development and prototyping, working with their team in India to understand their product and their market.
Interviews
With the main stakeholders.
Benchmark
Platforms with similar features.
Architecture and flows
So everything was easy to find and understand.
Prototyping
From concept to a clickable site.
Modular system
Reusable content templates.
What we foundKey findings
- A non-technical audience. Users with average tech knowledge: technical information had to be dosed carefully.
- Two very different uses. The same site had to work projected at an event and browsed by a potential customer.
- Content that changes. The team needed to communicate new products without depending on a redesign every time.
The solutionA system that can grow
A site that's clear today and able to grow tomorrow.
The message before the technical detail. Headers with one clear idea and real people, which work both projected and on screen.
A module system. Templates for products, benefits, text with image and call to action, so Compro can publish new content without losing consistency.
Adapted to any screen. From the event projector to the customer's phone, with the same content hierarchy.

LearningsWhat I take away
- Dosing technical information to the audience's level matters as much as the information itself.
- Designing modules instead of pages gives the client the autonomy to grow without losing consistency.
- With a team in another country, understanding their market well before proposing saves a lot of back and forth later.
